Q:   What problems can show up when I activate the FlingPC Manager for the first time?
A:   A Windows "Firewall Warning" may ask you to unblock the FlingPC Manager. Please press the "Unblock" button.

Q:   Do I need to install the FlingPC-provided USB Bluetooth dongle if I have an integrated Bluetooth in my computer already?
A:   Please try to activate your FlingPC Manager before installing the FlingPC-provided Bluetooth Dongle. If your FlingPC Manager fails to activate, then install the FlingPC-provided Bluetooth dongle and activate your FlingPC Manager. (Note: FlingPC will not operate correctly if more than one Bluetooth is activated in your computer).

Q:   What should I do if I mistakenly have more than one Bluetooth activated in my computer, or if my internal Bluetooth product is incompatible with my FlingPC?
A:   Disable or turn off all Bluetooth on your computer, then make sure only your FlingPC-provided Bluetooth Dongle is installed. (Note: Some older internal Bluetooth products are incompatible with FlingPC and newer Bluetooth products).
To disable your internal Bluetooth, first remove the FlingPC-provided Bluetooth dongle, open "Control Panel", enter "Device Manager", open "Bluetooth Radios" second-level directory, right mouse click "Generic Bluetooth Adapter", choose "Disable" from come up window.

Q:   Does a Bluetooth Driver need to be installed on my computer?
A:   There is no need to install a Bluetooth Driver if you already have the correct version, which is the Broadcom´s BTW software. Your FlingPC Manager may fail to open if you have incorrect Bluetooth Driver software.

Q:   Which Bluetooth management software is currently supported by FlingPC?
A:   FlingPC is compatible with Broadcom´s popular BTW Bluetooth software. Your FlingPC Manager may fail to open if you have the wrong BTW Bluetooth Software installed. If you have tried Step 2 above and are unable to activate the FlingPC Manager, please replace your current Bluetooth driver with the Broadcom´s BTW Driver.

Q:   How can I find out what current version Bluetooth Driver my personal computer is using?
A:   Under the Vista operation system, open "Control Panel", enter the "Programs and Features", right click at the blank place, and choose "Group By" in the new window and choose "More" button in the new window. Click "Version" and press "OK". After pressing OK, you will able to see the software version known as "WIDCOMM Bluetooth Software".
Under the XP operation system, right mouse click at the Bluetooth icon on the lower right-hand corner of your desktop and choose "Bluetooth Configuration". You will see information regarding "WIDCOMM Bluetooth Software".

Q:   Can the Broadcom's Bluetooth Driver be used for both XP and Vista operating systems?
A:   Bluetooth Driver version 6.1 or above can be used with Vista, (6.0 edition will not work with the FlingPC Manager on Vista). If you want to find out the current version of your Bluetooth Driver, please follow the procedure in question 6.

Q:   I have the correct version Bluetooth Driver and only one Bluetooth dongle on my computer, but I still can't activate the FlingPC Manager Software?
A:   Please restart your computer after installing the Broadcom Bluetooth Driver, and refresh the Bluetooth application.
To refresh the Bluetooth Application: Open "Control Panel", enter "Device Manger", open "Bluetooth Radios" second-level directory, right button click "Broadcom 2045****" and choose Update Driver software. Please choose "Search Automatically for updated driver software" then press "Close".

Q:   The Bluetooth Manager on my computer does't show an error message, but the FlingPC Remote could not connect to the computer?
A:   1)Please check the battery level and make sure that the capacity of battery is more than 10% left.
2)Please click the Bluetooth icon on the bottom of screen and check whether the Bluetooth device on your computer was disabled. If yes, please select "Start the Bluetooth Device" to enable."Close".

Q:   Why does my computer shows my configuration is inadequate?
A:   As with most products, FlingPC suggests minimum requirement for your computer to effectively play FlingPC Games. Problems may occur if your CPU is lower than 1.5GHz, RAM is less then 1024MB, and/or your Video Card do not support DirectX9. If any of these cases exist, your computer will show a warning message stating that you may not able to run the FlingPC games effectively. We suggest that you upgrade your computer to meet minimum requirements for playing FlingPC.

Q:   Are there any other performance requirements?
A:   We suggest that you do not activate the FlingPC Manager when your CPU is fully loaded, running several other simultaneous tasks.

Q:   How can I connect with more than one FlingPC Remote?
A:   For connecting additional FlingPC "Secondary" Remotes, please use the same connection process you did in Step 1 and Step 2 with your "Master" FlingPC Remote. Your FlingPC Manager is able to connect with maximum of 4 FlingPC Remotes. (You can use one FlingPC Master Remote and up to three FlingPC Secondary Remotes. Please note that Secondary FlingPC Remotes will not enable you to play FlingPC games unless a FlingPC Master Remote is present).

Q:   How can I disconnect my FlingPC Remote?
A:   Minimizing or closing your FlingPC Manager box automatically disconnects all FlingPC Remotes. Also, when your PC goes into hibernation mode, all FlingPC Remotes will automatically disconnect.

Q:   Can the game still work after PC wake up from hibernation?
A:   If FlingPC remote connects to PC, it will disconnect after PC wake up from hibernation.
Windows XP: Please refer to question 14 to reconnect. Note: Please wait for a while to start reconnecting because PC needs to restart Bluetooth device after hibernation.
Windows Vista:
1)FlingPC manager will stop working when PC enters hibernation .
2)After PC wake up from hibernation, please click "OK" button on the prompt dialog box to quit flingPC manger.
3)If using the external Bluetooth dongle, please follow the question 14 to reconnect after unplug and re-plug plug the dongle.
4)If using the internal embedded Bluetooth device, please follow the question 14 to reconnect after restart computer.

Q:   Will there be a problem if I have two computers and the FlingPC Manager has been activated on both computers?
A:   If both computers are close together, within normal Bluetooth operating range, your FlingPC Remote may connect to the wrong computer. To fix this situation, please exit the FlingPC Manager on the computer you are not using to play FlingPC.

Q:   How close do I need to be to my computer to use my FlingPC Remote?
A:   Please make sure your FlingPC Remote is within 10 meters (about 32 feet) of your personal computer.

Q:   I'm not able to connect my FlingPC Remote after entering the FlingPC video game?
A:   Please make sure your FlingPC Remote was successfully connected within the FlingPC Manager before entering FlingPC video Games. The Remote should vibrate, a blue LED on the Remote should light up, and the 1P light in the FlingPC Manager box should be lit. Once the FlingPC Remote connects within the FlingPC Manager, it will also be connected once you enter each FlingPC video game.

Q:   What do the different colors on the Bluetooth icon on the lower right-hand corner designate?
A:   The Bluetooth sign shows red when there is no FlingPC Remote connection with the Bluetooth Dongle (when using the 5.1 edition the Broadcom Bluetooth Driver). The Bluetooth sign shows white when the FlingPC is connected with the Bluetooth Dongle. The Bluetooth sign shows Green when the FlingPC Remote is connected with the FlingPC Manager. Please refer to Q6 to check the Bluetooth driver version.

Q:   What does "Enable/Disable Air Mouse" mean on FlingPC Remote settings?
A:   If Air Mouse on FlingPC Remote Settings is enabled, it means that FlingPC Remote can be used as air mouse. If Air Mouse on FlingPC Remote Settings is disabled, it means that FlingPC Remote air mouse functionality will be disabled and can not be used as mouse.

Q:   Why is there no Bluetooth Sign on the lower right-hand corner of the desktop after I installed the Bluetooth Driver?
A:   The Bluetooth Sign will not show on the desktop if you installed the 6.1 edition Broadcom Bluetooth Driver. Please refer to Q6 if you need more details.

Q:   I still can't open up and play the FlingPC video games?
A:   Please double check your driver hardware.Also, you can try to upgrade your Video Card and Sound Card with their latest software drivers.

Q:   Why did the video resolution change on my PC after playing FlingPC games?
A:   This may have been caused by improperly exiting your FlingPC video game session. To manually return to your preferred resolution, please refer to your Windows help file for details. (Note: If you follow the instructions for exiting FlingPC game play, this resolution change should not happen in the future.)

Q:   What's the difference between Bluetooth and 2.4G?
A:   Bluetooth is the standard and most popular technology used in the short range wireless communication whereas 2.4G is the proprietary and obsolete wireless technology. A user may ask how do the differences influence my gaming experience. To answer this question in short, we conclude that Bluetooth is a more reliable data transmission method that can deal with data in larger amount. Therefore, with the Bluetooth technology, FlingPC can support multiple players at one time and ensure a smooth and quality gaming experience without latency issues.

Q:   When I finished updating, and entered into the games, it will come out a dialogue frame, says the error--'bthprops.cpl'. Why?
A:   Because your computer system version is too low, please go the Microsoft official website to download the newest version of ‘service pack’. It will work once you installed the service pack.

Q:   I just received my FlingPC package and tried to insert the DVD and install the games?However, I can not get my FlingPC run properly on my laptop.
A:   1.First of all, please make sure that you have a DVD Rom to read our game disc.
2.Please check again your PC/laptop meets the minimum requirements indicated on your FlingPC packaging box.

3.If you are not sure how to check the specifications of your PC/laptop, you may want to download the software that summarizes all these information for you. Please click here to download.
a. Open and run the "SystemInfo.exe" program
b. There will be a window jumped out showing the critical info of your laptop specifications.
c. Then, please click on "Save Result" button on the lower right hand side of the window.
d. Save the result to your desktop as "txt." file.
4. If you confirm that your laptop/PC meets the minimum requirement, please insert your FlingPC game disc to your DVD Rom.
5. Then, please go to computer and double click at your DVD ram (auto run system should come up)
6. If not, please click the DVD ram by the right button on the mouse and lift click at "OPEN"
7. Double click at the "FlingPCsetup.exe" included in the DVD disc.
8. Then, please follow the indications on the screen to finish the installation.

Q:   How to register for my warranty online?
A:   1. Please prepare and have ready the EIP card that came with your FlingPC package.
2. Login the FlingPC.com with the ID and Password as shown on your EIP card.
3. After logged in, please fill out the information of the form, and confirmed again before you clicked “OK” to submit.
4. By following all the steps mentioned above, you should be registered for your membership successfully now.
5. You may go ahead and print out the warranty form from the screen.
If you still can not register successfully after following all the steps mentioned above, please email us at support@flingpc.com, and provide us with your ID and Password enclosed in your FlingPC package. We will respond to you as soon as possible.

Q:   When I connect my Remote Control to PC, why do the LED lights on the Remote Control only flash once?
A:   Two possible ways: According to your description, we have two suggestions for you. 
The power in the batteries might be used up, please replace them for the new ones. Or, please try to click on "M" button and click on the connection button.

Q:   Sometimes, the air mouse may move too fast or too slow. Is there any way to adjust it?
A:   You can change the mouse speed via the PC control panel.Press the “Connect” button on the Remote Control. The Remote Control will vibrate when it is successfully connected, and a color image of a connected Remote Control will display on the screen . Note: This game supports two Players maximum. When connected, the second Remote Control will display as “2P”.
